Mary Patscot Rocha

By Tony Yang

Meet Mary Patscot Rocha, a Tosa Resident Folk Artist living just around the corner from Idyll!

Common themes in her work are nature and community based. The significance of shelter and the environment are her driving inspiration. Making sustainable art whenever possible is extremely important. Mary likes to experiment by repurposing canvas while trying to leave hints of the original art. Mary’s husband Juan is a skilled artisan and an instrumental part of her work. Providing and preparing all repurposed wood for small works and custom framing for larger works.
